Facilities and Services at the Lovat Hotel in Perth The Glendevon Suite The Glendevon Suite a fabulously spacious function room in the Lovat hotel, capable of accommodating up to 140 guests for your wedding meal in which we can offer a variety of table plans. An additional 30 guests can be accommodated for your evening reception. The Glendevon Suite has undergone a complete refurbishment to give you a modern and stylish room in neutral tones which will complement your day and colour scheme. For your comfort the Glendevon is fully air conditioned and boasts a large dance floor as well as it’s own private bar which can be open until the wee small hours of the morning. Room hire is complimentary when catering for numbers above 50. Wedding Menus Our chefs appreciate that each couple will have individual preferences and different desires for their wedding day menu. For this reason our example menus are inter-changeable and we can readily accommodate for specific requests, special dietary requirements and children's meals with prior notice. In addition up to four people, ideally from the bridal party, can accompany the bridal couple for a small charge. Please note that any drinks you have at your menu tasting are not included and should be settled for on the night. Drinks Welcome Drinks: After your wedding ceremony treat your guests to a refreshment on arrival at the hotel while the wedding photographs are being taken. Our co-ordinator is happy to discuss options and various packages. Wine and Toast drinks: Traditionally there would be a toast to the bride and groom at the cutting of the cake with speeches either before or after the meal. We have a selection of fine wines and champagnes from our Lovat Hotel wine list for your toast and to accompany your meal. Suggested Drinks: We are more than happy to discuss drinks packages and our co-ordinator can offer professional advice on the best suited wines to complement your meal and enhance the richness of flavours of each course.
Canapes As an accompaniment to the welcome drink offered to your guests, our talented chefs at the Lovat Hotel in Perth can provide a selection of popular canapes. The waiting team will circulate with silver platters of canapes amongst your guests. We are able to accommodate this in two ways to suit your preference. You can choose from one of our five finger buffet menus as listed or compose your own from our buffet selector. Entertainment We always recommend that Bridal Couples arrange their own entertainment to suit their guests. We do have a selection of telephone numbers for Entertainment Agencies and Individual Artists such as String Quartets, Harpists, Pipers, Bands and Disco's which are available on request. Accommodation We offer complimentary overnight accommodation with breakfast for Bridal Couples who book our full wedding package. Guests can also enjoy a special bed and breakfast rate, with the use of our Leisure facilities at the Best Western Queens Hotel in Perth, when booking a room as part of the wedding party at the Lovat Hotel in Perth. All accommodation reserved by the Bride and Groom on guests behalf must be confirmed at least one month prior to the wedding. Rooms must be confirmed and paid for at the time of booking to guarantee this rate by individual guests.
